Hey everyone! Wanted to give a heads up that the club's new points program for 2026 will be kicking off soon. This was proposed by Matt KC3WHF and was voted on and approved. The idea behind it is to encourage more participation from the membership, for both the benefit of you and the club.

Here's how it works - you can earn points throughout the year by participating in various club activities. Things like attending monthly meetings (25 pts each), participating in Field Day (100 pts), doing a presentation at a meeting (75 pts), volunteering at the Steam Engine Association events (500 pts each), and more. The max you can earn in a year is 1,975 points.

As for what you can earn with those points, here's the reward tiers:

• 300 points - CVARC/W3ACH Club Patch
• 750 points - CVARC/W3ACH Club Hat
• 900 points - CVARC/W3ACH Club T-Shirt
• 1,000 points - 1 Year of Club Membership Paid
• 2,000 points - 2 Years of Club Membership Paid
