Hey everyone, just a heads up that ARRL has officially published the Field Day 2026 rules and packet, so it's a good time to start thinking ahead. Field Day this year falls on June 27–28, with the theme "Amateur Radio: A National Resource."
No rule changes from last year. The event runs from 1800 UTC Saturday through 2059 UTC Sunday. On the bonus point side, the usual opportunities are all still there. Emergency power, media publicity, public location, and a public info table are each worth 100 points. The social media bonus is back as well, and youth participation points are in at 20 points per operator 18 and under completing at least one QSO, up to 100 points total. Submitting your entry through the web app also gets you a 50 point bonus, and entries are due by July 28, 2026.
