QRZ is joining the America250 celebration in a big way with the USA250 Award, a special one-year operating award marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.
During all of 2026, operators around the world are invited to get on the air and log 250 confirmed QSOs with U.S. amateur radio stations. Simple goal, lots of activity, and plenty of chances to fill the log. Between the USA250 Award and other America250 activities such as the ARRL ones (see below) happening in 2026, it’s shaping up to be a busy and fun year to be on the air!
How it works:
- Work 250 U.S.-based stations
- Any band, any mode
- Direct RF contacts only (no repeaters or internet linking)
- QSOs must take place between January 1 and December 31, 2026 (UTC)
- Confirmations are done through QRZ Logbook (LoTW imports count)
This award is designed to encourage steady on-air activity all year long.
