Nominations for Vice President are currently being accepted at the next meeting April 17, 2025. Elections will be held the following meeting May 15, 2025.

The Buckridge Burn was a success. THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped out. Also THANK YOU to SMRA for their help and letting us use their 146.430 repeater as a back-up just in case it was needed.

The Cumberland Valley Antique Engine and Machinery Association is hosting their Spring Fling April 26 & 27th. They are asking for help from CVARC to help work in the kitchen or the fry stand on one or both days if possible. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please send me an email to cvarcw3ach@gmail.com if you're able to help.

Discord Server

Just to let everyone know that W3ACH has a home on Discord courtesy of Jim Stephens/KB3ICU. Club announcements will also be posted on Discord. Discord will allow people to connect by phone or video for those people who are unable to attend club meetings which are held the third Thursday of every month at 7:00pm EST.

GROUPS.IO

W3ACH is officially on Groups.Io. This is a great place to stay in touch via a forum and keep up with current events for W3ACH. The W3ACH group has been started courtesy of Chuck/NA1CN.

All you need to do is point your browser to Groups.io and register for a free account. After that just do a search for W3ACH and put a request in to join. You will get a message stating that your request has been submitted and you will be granted access shortly.

Sunday Morning Breakfast

Starting 1 Dec. 2024 the W3ACH club will be meeting at Texas Lunch in Chambersburg, PA the first Sunday of every month at 7:30 am. This can be subject to change as the club's wishes.

Texas Lunch is located at:

108 Lincoln Way W, Chambersburg, PA 17201

One can always hop on the 147.120 repeater and put a call out to see if others are headed to breakfast.
