Emergencies do happen on occasion and it is requested that anyone taking control of the net as Net Control first check the www.W3ACH.com website and their email to ensure that the repeater is in normal operation and has not been locked out due to an active ongoing emergency.  If the repeater has been declared to be in an Emergency Status,  an announcement will be posted on the club's website and an email sent out letting people know that the repeater is out of service due to an ongoing declared emergency. The Net will either move to back-up operations on simplex or the net may be canceled. Another email and announcement will be posted letting people know that the repeater has been returned back to normal active status.
